We have been using Artisteer for the last year to create a nuber of Mobile Websites for our clients. I agree It would be awesome to be able to create mobile themes, for all the various CMS' which Artisteer currently supports. In the meantime, I've switched to *always* manually creating my own header and menu (even for the desktop version) and switching all the font sizes from px to rem (relative em units) in order to avoid resizing issues with different pixel depths.And recreating all Artisteer-generated graphics in SVG format to better accommodate retina displays. I have found it relatively easy to turn a standard Artisteer template into one that is responsive/mobile by following these principles.
